I think that it was awful how George Adamson died. He will be remembered as a “friend of all lions” around the world. I’ve read Ace Bourke and John Rendall’s book about Christian and loved it! I even have the DVD about Christian, and two DVDs about Elsa the lioness (Born Free).

Please do keep us updated about the lions! Thank you.

    Dear Ace and John
I never get tired of watching your video of Christian the lion. It proves beyond doubt that even wild animals can feel love for humans. You will no doubt have seen the media reports about the killing of Cecil the lion. In Zimbabwe we are heartbroken over the brutal murder of this beloved lion, particularly that he was left to suffer for 40 hours after being wounded, before finally being killed. Cecil had become accustomed to humans from a very young age, so that he was almost tame. One can imagine his bewilderment that these same humans could inflict so much pain. I pray that he did not die in vain.

    sincerely
